A top notch, origin, limited collection green tea from Japan. In contrast with most classic senchas (green teas) which are cultivated under the full sun, Gyokuro is grown carefully in the shade. A lot of effort goes into growing Gyokuro and tea farmers have to shade the whole green tea plantation for 20-30 days before harvesting this tea jewel!
