Tea Recipe: The Matcha Citron
These days, one thing is becoming near certain: the Matcha craze is nowhere near over!
So, I figured now would be a good time to stoke the flames with a new tea cocktail recipe, featuring, of course, Matcha!
I call this one The Matcha Citron.
How Make to Make The Matcha Citron | Tea Recipe
- 1.5 oz Dry Gin
- 0.5 oz Matcha vermouth (recipe follows)
- 0.25 oz Lillet Blanc
- 1 drop Orange Bitters
- Lemon wedge for garnish
Procedure
Add all ingredients (except garnish) to a mixing glass and fill with ice. Stir and strain into a chilled Nick & Nora glass (or a smaller Martini glass). Garnish with a lemon wedge, rubbing it around the rim of the glass.
Matcha Vermouth
Sift ¼ teaspoon Matcha into a shallow bowl and add ½ cup dry vermouth. Using a bamboo matcha whisk, blend the powder and vermouth until it’s combined. Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Cheers!
